Well that's not a great way of explaining it, the actual reason Irish shouldn't be spoken is because it is vestigial, primitive, and useless in international communication in comparison to English. It is no more useful or meaningful than is Celtic Paganism or Jacobitism, it is a relic of a barbaric era.
